Comment: I would and have returned to Jafri rugs since I discovered the business. Mr Jafri and his son Hamza were very helpful when we needed rugs cleaned and repaired. We even bought a small rug as a wedding gift for our granddaughter.

We just purchased several rugs from Jafri. Fantastic experience with the owners - Father and Son team! Excellent products and superior customer service. I can highly recommend doing business with these good folks!

What a fun way to buy a rug. Mr. Jafri has an encyclopedic hold on his inventory and seems genuinely pleased to match you with your ideal rug. The whole process, from initial browsing to delivery, was great. I will be back.

True - that they have absolutely beautiful rugs and an amazing assortment and inventory, but Mr Jafri (the younger) and Mr Jafri (the older) and their crew make this establishment truly unique. My grandfather purchased an hand knotted oriental rug in the late 19 th or very early 20 th century . After more than a hundred years of use in our family the rug had become thread bare , the edges were tattered. , the colors had faded , and it had several small tears. In addition a small piece of the edge of the rug had been torn away and lost . Because of the rug’s intrinsic and sentimental value spanning four generations , we decided to invest in repairing and restoring it . After contacting multiple dealers we were so fortunate to connect with Humza at Jafri Rugs . After over four months of work Humza and the Jafri team were able to restore the rug to its original beauty . We were thrilled with the quality of their work . Humza’s responsiveness to our questions and concerns , and his warm and accommodating demeanor made the entire process a pleasure . I highly recommend Jafri rugs for repair and restoration of antique rugs .

Jafri was a lifesaver repairing an older expensive rug that was part of a set when it was pulled & damaged by cat nails. They picked up the rug the following day & repairs took a bit over two weeks. I was delighted that the end charges came in lower than the initial estimate per the emailed photos of the damaged rug. I appreciate their honest business practices & they also included a rug pad free of charge. I will utilize their services again without reservation & highly recommend them to anyone looking to restore their irreplaceable rugs!

Hamsa was a pleasure to work with through all stages of getting two antique rugs inherited cleaned & repaired. He answered all of my numerous questions and seemed to genuinely enjoy imparting his seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of the many different subtypes of rug styles and their respective histories. It was far more expensive than I was originally expecting, but these guys are worth every penny. They are legitimate specialists in restoring high quality rugs and I can't recommend Jafri Rugs strongly enough.

We recently moved to the area and wanted a statement rug for our dining room. We found Jafri on the internet and decided to make the 75 minute trip. We called first and Humza was welcoming from the very start. He showed us a number of rugs from their large collection, after listening to our comments and looking at photos of the room. We narrowed it down to four rugs. We drive back home and be sent his crew with the four rugs in a van. They laid them out and we picked the one we wanted while Humza advised us over face time. 4 hours after leaving home we were the proud owners of a gorgeous Kazak. We’re thrilled. We also showed Humza a Chinese rug I inherited and he was as able to evaluate it on the video call and recommended repairs. We sent it back to Albany with the crew. All in all a terrific experience. We highly recommend Humza and Jafri rugs!

I just love working with high quality caring business owners like Humza, his Dad, and their crew. I had a wonderful experience purchasing a couple of rugs, one at the store, and one special ordered. I wish all businesses showed their level of care and integrity. And just being around all those beautiful rugs is sheer joy!

Highly recommended. Knowledgeable and professional. They have a very large selection of Oriental and modern abstract rugs. No high pressure sales. Allows home trial. Also had a positive experience with cleaning and repairs of our rugs.

If you own Oriental rugs or any other high quality hand knotted rug you must take advantage of the amazing service Jafri provides. I have many oriental rugs. Several of them needed cleaning and repairs. Jafri picked up my rugs gave me a reasonable estimate for cleaning and repair. They completed the work in a reasonable period of time and returned my rugs. The results were amazing!! All of my rugs look as good if not better than the day I bought them. The quality of the repairs couldn’t be better! It’s impossible to even detect a repair has been made, they are made in the tradition of the rug. I feel fortunate to have found Jafri and to work with them. I plan to use them on a regular basis to maintain my rugs. They also have an amazing collection of rare rugs in their show room. I purchased a couple more!!

The rug cleaning and repair work Jafri foes on hand knotted rugs is amazing. They have repaired and cleaned several of my rugs and I was astonished by the results. My rugs look like new again. The repairs are carefully done to the tradition of the rug so they are indistinguishable. I was just amazed. They are fantastic to work with, I plan to use them to maintain all my rugs.
