Job completed for Turkish Kilim Repair in Saugerties

This is an example of a valuable woven Turkish kilim rug that was torn apart at the border. THe rug required brand new borders to be created and new fringe to be added at both ends.

The work took a few months as this required artisan weaver work all done by hand

This rug was a massive undertaking as it required adding new wool into the rug. The new fringes were done via implant work and were not sewn on. The rug has increased greatly in value and will be preserved for a long time.

This rug also required the appropriate fringe work that is a propos to the design and era of the rug.
