This is an example of a silk rug that was completely stained in the central medallion. The rug had to go thru a very specific process called releasing where the stain is color restored and released from the rug.
The rug had numerous issues but the main issue was with the actual stain which was caused by urine and pet droppings.
The stains were harshly rubbed against the rug causing the stain to persist following the rug cleaning.
The rug had to go thru a process called extraction where the stain was extracted from the rug.
Exclusive laser sighting technology is able to zoom in on stained areas

I bless the day I found Mr Jafri. As one who has collected rugs for 50 years, I both learned about their value and origins and had them beautifully cleaned and repaired.
Very beautiful rugs there, would have been a difficult decision. Only needed a rug pad this time. When we're in the market again, this is where we'll go. Pete, Delmar, NY
