This is an example of a classic bokhara rug made with Manchester wool. Due to enormous water damage the rug has stains that can only come out with a combination of organic washing and color restoration work. Given the duration of time that passed between the water damage and time of cleaning the rug has become courser and brittle. Additional work required with the rug includes the following:

-Fringe was fraying

-Binding was unraveling

-Moth damage was showing all throughout the rug

1. Inspection and Assessment
