Job completed for Berne Shag Rug Cleaning and Repair

Completion date: December 26, 2025

Location: Berne, NY

Why did the customer contact us?

This customer had not cleaned their shag rug for many years and this rug had deep filth and mud in the fibers of the rug

Jafri Rug restoration was the only full service that could deep clean this rug. This is not the same as cleaning wall to wall carpet

Given the extent of the damage, Jafri Rugs had to assess the best way to organically clean the rug

Since there was a great deal of encrusted mold on the pile of the rug, following the cleaning Jafri Rug cleaners will shear the pile about an inch so that the rug's true colors show bringing back the original condition of the rug

Solutions provided:

Jafri Rug Cleaning cleaned this rug by doing the following:

No rotary brushes that could damage shag fibers
