Why did the customer contact us?

This is a beautifully made sino-persian rug where the weave is chinese but the rug was made in Pakistan. The rug is a classic tabriz made with rapsberry vegetable dyes. Given the damage to the rug due to the customer cleaning this rug at home Jafri Rugs will have to apply an all organic wash which may require cleaning the rug twice.

The first image shows the rug as completely destroyed as the customer tried to clean the rug with baking soda. The rug is shown as completely stained and requires a proper cleaning. The second image shows the rug post cleaning work Jafri Rug restoration did the following to get the stains out:

-Entire soaking of the rugs in a tub of cold water and solution

-Drying the rugs in our drying roo

-Dusting the rugs to remove the existing dust

-Lathering the rug with olive oil shampoo to bring back the original colors of the rug
