This is an example of a tribal Shiraz Persian circa 1900 rug. The rug is in worn condition and requires enormous work in both the field and frame of the rug. The fringe is completely worn and fraying and the binding requires new wool. Jafri Rugs will make sure that a rug of this quality go thru the proper organic wash.

The rug is threadbare
and requires enormous restoration work. Given its antiquity and overall quality
the rug is a valuable rug worthy of belonging in a museum. This is a textbook
rug and has a classic Khamseh civilization motifs such as the tree of life garden and geometric motifs
