This image is an example of a classic Caucasian rug. The rug
is densely knotted but the fringe and binding was completely worn and
unraveling. The field of the rug is worn and therefore
requires a great deal of work such as reweaving the motifs that show the warp and weft coming thru...given the fringe and binding act
like a frame of the rug if they continued to unravel further they would eat
into the field of the rug causing it to become prohibitively expensive to fix.

Jafri Rug restoration will do the following:
