Why did the customer contact us?

This rug required rug stretching and since it was a kilim the corner was coiled up. Since this is an antique Turkish Kilim Jafri Rug restoration had to put the rug thru a blocking process which slowly stretches the rug out. In order to do so the rug's binding is first removed and then the rug is blocked with a machine and then the rug's binding is added back on.

The below image shows the blocking process, this is a wool and silk rug which had ripples in it.

The rug is now fully stretched and the corner of the rug is no longer coiled up.
