Why did the customer contact us?

This customer brought in a century old Persian Kerman antique rug. The rug has never been cleaned and Jafri Rug restoration did the following:

-Soaking of the rug where the rug is soaked in a tub of cold water for a period of a few days

-Drying the rug where the rug is hung in our drying room for a couple days

-Deodorization where the rug's musty smell is removed

-Dusting the rug whereby the rug's dust fibers are vacuumed out

-Applying an olive oil shampoo to the rug where the rug's original dyes are brought back to the original condition as when it first came off the loom

The rug is looking fully restored with additional touch up work as well

The first image shows the post work following the cleaning

The second image shows the pre-restoration work

You will notice the original dyes now are popping and the true pronouncement of the design is coming out.
